How we approach interior work
Most interior repaints we do across Tweed Heads, Banora Point, Kingscliff and the southern Gold Coast are full-home refreshes — walls and ceilings in a low-sheen acrylic, trim and doors in a hard-wearing enamel gloss. We run a three-coat system: acrylic sealer first, then finish coats selected for the surface. No single-coat shortcuts.
Prep is where interior jobs live or die. We fill, sand and spot-prime before the sealer goes on — cracks in cornices, nail pops, patched plaster, water stains, the lot. Cut-ins are done by hand for sharp lines at the ceiling, skirting and architraves.
We work clean. Drop sheets on every floor, plastic on cabinetry, doors removed and refinished off-site where it makes sense. You get a written quote, a clear schedule, and the same painter on-site from start to finish.

How long does an interior repaint take?
A standard 3-bedroom home usually takes 4–6 working days depending on prep, ceilings and how many trim colours are involved. We give you a day-by-day schedule with the quote.
Do I need to move out?
No. We work room by room and keep the house liveable. We'll agree which rooms get done when so it works around your week.
What paint do you use for interiors?
A three-coat system as standard: acrylic sealer, then Haymes Expression Low Sheen or Haymes Ultra-Premium Interior on walls and ceilings, and Haymes Ultra-Premium enamel gloss on trim and doors. We tailor the spec to the room and the substrate.
